Vacation Time

Posted on

Happy Friday everyone!  I hope you all are getting geared up for the holiday weekend to enjoy some time with family and friends and a lil bbq action 😉  I know I sure am!  I was up and at ’em early this morning to get packed up and ready to go for our mini getaway.  My parents have a cabin up at Lake Tulloch, a really cute, quaint town with a gorgeous lake surrounded by beautiful homes.  What we really love about having this vacation home is it’s like having a home away from home.  It’s only about a 2 hour drive away, and in just that small amount of time, we’re suddenly in this quiet, country-esque town with adorable shops, restaurants, and wineries (yes please!).  And what’s nice is we’re able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the San Francisco Bay Area to just chill out for a bit, be in a relaxing environment, and just truly appreciate every  moment of fun and good times together with our family.

So with that, raise your flags and celebrate the day our country declared independence…remember all we have to be thankful for and make everyday to live for “The Good Life”

**I’d like to say a lil goodbye to the blog world for this weekend…we have zero internet access and cell phone reception at our cabin so I’ll see you all back here next Tuesday.  I will have lots of great photos and memories to share and I wish you all a safe and fun 4th of July holiday weekend! 🙂
